Lanvin Campaign | Fall 2011

By far, the best thing ever! I am in complete love with the new Lanvin Fall 2011/2012 collection whose campaign movie and campaign was shot by Steven Meisel.  To the music of Pitbull – I Know You Want Me, models Karen Elson, Raquel Zimmermann, Lowell Tautchin and Milo Spijkers, join designer Alber Elbaz to kick off the dancing party in the amazing pieces which Lanvin will be offering this season.

Bottega Veneta Campaign | Fall 2011

I know I’ve been really quiet for the last few days, but I’ve been whipping up something good, which you guys will see soon.  For now, I’ll keep having some fun with the campaigns rolling out, along with life in general.

Taking it to the historic city of Venice in Italy, Bottega Veneta displays their vintage and grungy take on things, as they unleash their Fall 2011 campaign, featuring model Nicolas Ripoll. Photographed by Robert Polidori, the campaign captures the calm model posing amid an interestingly classic setting which carries a feel of grunge.  The amazing detail of the pieces continue to stand-tall, with a great deal of classic tailoring and the youthful breath of distressed pieces.  As a Bottega Veneta fan, I definitely say a big bravo to Mr. Maier and his team for continuing a timeless legacy of luxurious Italian products and great accesories.

Giorgio Armani Campaign | Fall 2011

Bringing once again nothing short of perfection, Giorgio Armani pairs the upscale and incredibly sophisticated pieces from his Fall 2011 womens-wear collection with model Sasha Pivovarova, to bring the Fall 2011 campaign. Shot by Mert & Marcus, the images capture the stunning Russian model with red-hot lips, great outerwear made from fabrics like fur and tweed, along with day wear featuring impeccable tailoring.  Backed by subtle light and possessing a sultry spirit, the campaign tops my list this season, and as we prep to bring in the Fall season with a bang, the great range of clothes and accessories shown here should be on every woman’s want-list.

Donna Karan Campaign | Fall 2011

I always seem to fall in love with Donna Karan’s campaigns season after season. This season, she portrays what I’d define as the perfect lady transitioning  in all sophistication and glamour, from a busy day in the office to a night out. With the use of silver hues, a touch of fur and the flawlessness of Isabeli Fontana, the busy day in New York City is shot by none other than Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin and styled by Nicoletta Santaro.

Giorgio Armani Campaign | Fall 2011

Being the epitome of class, Giorgio Armani snags model Diego Fragoso, to present his Fall 2011 campaign in true style.  Shot by Mert & Marcus, Diego dons an incredibly detailed herringbone suit with a great backdrop of lighting to his photograph.

Hilfiger Denim | Spring/Summer 2012

Only God knows how much I love Tommy Hilfiger, not only because I basically grew up getting loaded with his clothes, but also because his aesthetic of design goes perfectly with my more classic or preppy nature.  In introducing his Hilfiger Denim look book for Spring 2012, we’ll see how much denim and its vintage retro dominance stands out strongly in this collection. I definitely enjoy the fun and quirky images which show the youthfulness of the line and his signature of all-american prep. With a spew of denim jeans Hilfiger presents very casual looks composed of  denim shorts and shorts, denim jackets, denim shirts and shirts, striped cardigans, bomber jackets, accessories and the understated underwear. With the coolest models like Vinnie Woolston among others, everyone seems to be getting ready to party, and sport  desert boots and canvas shoes.

D&G Campaign | Fall/Winter 2011

I had these images on my computer for quite some time now, and during a random ‘clean-up’ I knew I had to post them since I’m a huge D&G fanboy.  Shot by photography favorite Mario Testino, the impeccable models including David Agbodji, Guy Robinson, Alexander Johansson, Tao Okamoto, Melodie Monrose, Marique Schimmel and Aiste Kliveckaite join forces to don the Fall/Winter 2011 looks which sauntered down the runway earlier this year. With their casual look and youthful feel, bold patterns and prints, along with fur and tweed were displayed on a great deal of draping dresses and parkas and blazers. Accessories and eye-wear were certainly not absent, as neckties and D&G’s popular pair of headphones, along with glasses and sunglasses were on display.

I definitely see myself incorporating lots of their pieces into my winter wardrobe this year.
