The perfect duo I call it, Marc Jacobs and Kim Jones (who is the new style director of Louis Vuitton), brought to the runway today in paris another amazing menswear collection. A label which has such iconic status has no room for error, and with a great collection and cool runway space they got the show on the road. Bringing class and fun together, they presented a collection filled with shorts, blazers (of course), parkas, jackets, ankle-high chinos and equally incredible brogues, sneakers and sandals. With timeless accessories like bags and sunglasses, with which I’ve always been obsessed, it definitely made my favorites list. Outfits with a British style aesthetic opened the show and ties were definitely the standout accessory. Getting a bit more sporty and casual, they brought in outfits topped off by sweaters bomber jackets or leather jackets. Somewhere in the middle of the show, amid the lone trench coat a spew of brightly colored tartan and checkered print sauntered down the runway on scarves, shirts and shorts. Some looks seemingly appeared to be inspired by Safari, but whatever the case or theme may be it was overall a great show. Here is my favorites, as well as the entire collection below.
