The classy summer man was on display today as Gucci continued the Milan Menswear list of shows with oversized sweaters, cardigans, the formal short, a pinch of color and lots of redefined youthfulness. I got up quite late, but was able to jump in the action around the middle of the show via Style.com. Bomber jackets of leather, ankle-high chinos, exquisite sunglasses, and bags were apart of the casual outfits that sauntered down the runway. Then came the formal which consisted of patterned blazers and pants, in plaid, stripes and glittery sequins. In addition, the shoes caught my eye from beginning to end, an array of brogues and loafers ranging from finishes like leather to patent leather, and some also carrying metal accentuates on them. Frida is known for producing amazingly classic collections for Menswear, however I honestly prefer this season’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection, because it had a better Summer feel. Nonetheless, the collection was great. Check out my favorites below, along with the entire collection.
